Client: Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD)

The project was to provide professional engineering services to augment Harris County Flood Control District on Construction Management and Inspection Services. Project assignments were for post-Harvey Flood Mitigation constructions which included various channel improvements, bayou bank stabilization, and other related bridge and structure improvement work as assigned by HCFCD. Typical CM&I responsibilities included Construction Management Field Support services such as site visits, progress meetings, review and processing RFI, submittals, and field conditions, overseeing daily work progress; Construction Project Management services; Resident project representation; and Construction Inspections.

Ardmore Bridge and Stella Link Bridge Reconstruction ($4m) Project consisted of the removal and replacement of a new wider bridge. Responsibilities included project oversight and management of drilled pier foundation construction, cast-in-place columns and bent caps construction pre-cast concrete beams, and deck slab installation
Greenbriar Bridge Reconstruction ($4m) Project consisted of the removal of the existing bridge and the replacement of a new wider bridge. Responsibilities included project oversight and management of drilled pier foundation construction, cast-in-place columns and bent caps construction pre-cast concrete beams, and deck slab installation.
Addicks Desilting and Channel Modification ($13m) Project Oversight and inspection of Federally funded project consisting of Buffalo Bayou channel modification and side slope stabilization, Langham Creek concrete channel lining replacement, and Bear Creek channel repairs and improvements
White Oak Bayou Federal Flood Control Project ($1 m) Inspection and management of channel repairs and rehabilitation, outfall pipe reconstruction, backslope concrete interceptors, and flood mitigation.
