A New Chapter in Growth
Founded in 2015, Aurora has expanded from a single principal to a team of 15 professionals, delivering full-service consulting engineering and construction management services for public infrastructure projects. The firm works with cities, counties, and other governmental agencies to develop and enhance essential infrastructure.
“We’ve been fortunate to welcome new clients and take on exciting, challenging projects over the past four years,” said Rafael Ortega, President of Aurora. “This move brings us physically closer to our core clients in the Houston region. It also provides more space for our growing team.”
Aurora has played a key role as the Lead Construction Engineer for the Uptown Development Authority. In this role, the firm supports the Authority’s ongoing $150 million construction program to reconstruct infrastructure within the Galleria Area. A highlight of this effort was the reconstruction of more than 9,000 linear feet of Post Oak Boulevard from Richmond Avenue to IH-610.
