Aurora participated in the 2024 UESI Pipelines Conference in Calgary, Canada, where Project Lead John Rush, EIT, presented on “A Route Study to Reduce Expenses and Reduce Groundwater Usage.” His presentation focused on the North Harris County Regional Water Authority’s efforts to minimize subsidence by reducing groundwater dependence in northeast Houston.
As Program Manager, Aurora is overseeing the conversion of 23 water plants into Water Receiving Facilities (WRFs) and the installation of over 40 miles of waterline. The presentation highlighted innovative strategies to lower project costs while addressing key challenges.
