
Graduate Engineer - Civil

Aurora Technical Services, LLC is a technical-driven professional consulting firm providing design and management services to clients mostly in the Texas region for infrastructure, water, wastewater, storm, sanitary sewer, drainage, and roadway projects. We are seeking Civil and Mechanical engineers who are detail-oriented and self-motivated to support our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team, under the supervision of a Team Lead or Project Manager.
- Conduct engineering calculations, evaluations, and studies to propose design improvement
alternatives, and assist in making design recommendations as it relates to water distribution and transmission systems. - Prepare layouts, and drafting of engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assist in developing specifications and technical reports.
- Assist in collecting data and research utility records.
- Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and survey data.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design documents, including project schedules.
- Perform various field engineering tasks including site observations, verification of contractor’s adherence to design documents, and development of field modifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 1-3 years of work-related experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Engineering-In-Training certification.
- Team-oriented with a strong capability to work independently.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous working or internship experience related to water, wastewater, storm, drainage, roadway, utility, or infrastructure projects.
