Highlights of CIGMAT 2024
Aurora had the privilege of attending the 29th Annual CIGMAT Conference and Exhibition on March 1, 2024, at the University of Houston. Hosted by the Center for Innovative Grouting Materials and Technology (CIGMAT) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, this one-day event brought together experts, contractors, and consultants to discuss critical infrastructure challenges facing Houston and other major cities.
CIGMAT 2024 focused on key topics such as geotechnical advancements, energy solutions, flood management, transportation improvements, and sustainability efforts. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, network with city planners and engineers, and explore innovative technologies that could shape the future of urban development.
With a mix of technical presentations, research posters from the University of Houston, and engaging discussions, the conference provided valuable insights into the latest trends and solutions in infrastructure maintenance and environmental sustainability.
We are excited to bring back the knowledge gained at CIGMAT 2024 and apply it to our ongoing projects. Looking forward to next year’s event!
